32 community members. Two fire departments. One classroom. National Stop the Bleed Day 2026. Last night at Newportville Fire Company #1, civilians, volunteer firefighters from Newportville and Croydon, and fire department EMTs trained on the same skills, on the same night, in the same room. The full chain of survival, learning together. The class continued through two fire calls. Heavy storms moved through Bucks County. Every firefighter who left to run a call came back to finish the training. Ten years into Stop the Bleed. The community is the program.
