Firefighter Swipe Tool®

The Firefighter Swipe Tool is a compact entry tool designed to help firefighters, EMS providers, and law enforcement gain access through locked doors using non-destructive entry techniques. Instead of forcing the door, the tool works by sliding between the door and frame to manipulate the latch mechanism and release the lock.

Unlike traditional shove tools that only work on certain doors, the In & Out design allows this tool to work on both inward and outward opening doors, providing greater versatility for emergency response. It can also defeat security chains and secondary latches commonly found in hotels and apartments, making it useful during welfare checks, medical emergencies, and rescue calls.

Constructed from high-strength flexible Mylar, the tool can wrap around the door frame and latch hardware to quickly bypass the locking mechanism. The result is faster entry with less property damage, an important consideration during medical calls and emergency responses where responders must reach patients quickly.
