North American Rescue
Dragon Handle System
The Dragon Handle System is a compact casualty extraction tool designed to help responders rapidly move injured personnel from dangerous environments. Originally developed for tactical rescue operations, the system allows rescuers to perform efficient casualty drags with improved body mechanics, reducing fatigue while moving heavier patients.
Constructed from 1-inch Tech Tape webbing, the Dragon Handle System provides exceptional durability and flexibility while maintaining high tensile strength. Two weather-resistant flexible handles provide improved grip and control during casualty drags, while a floating bull ring and carabiner attachment point allow multiple drag configurations.
The system keeps the casualty low to the ground during movement, helping reduce the risk of additional injury while allowing the rescuer to quickly move the patient out of hazardous areas. The Dragon Handle System supports both head-first and feet-first drags, making it adaptable to different environments and rescue scenarios.
Compact and lightweight, it provides responders with a simple but highly effective tool for rapid casualty extraction when time and manpower are limited.
