Training Combat Application Tourniquet® (C-A-T®)
The Training Combat Application Tourniquet® (C-A-T®) is designed specifically for realistic hemorrhage control training while preserving operational tourniquets for real emergencies. Built to replicate the feel and application technique of the duty C-A-T®, this training version allows instructors and students to practice proper tourniquet placement without exposing life saving equipment to unnecessary wear.
Ideal for Stop the Bleed programs, TECC and TCCC training, EMS education, law enforcement training, and school safety programs, the training C-A-T® helps develop the muscle memory required to stop life threatening extremity bleeding quickly and effectively.
Constructed with the same familiar design as the operational model, including the windlass system and routing buckle, the training tourniquet allows users to practice proper placement, tightening, and securing techniques during both one handed and two handed applications.
Clearly marked and color coded to distinguish it from operational tourniquets, the Training C-A-T® helps ensure that training equipment is never confused with life saving field gear.
Whether used in classroom instruction, hands on skills labs, or large scale bleeding control training events, the Training C-A-T® is an essential tool for building confident and capable responders.
