NasaClip

NasaClip is a small, single-use device designed to control nosebleeds quickly and without constant hands-on pressure.

It works by applying consistent compression to the correct area of the nose while absorbent sponges manage blood flow. Once applied, it stays in place, allowing the user or responder to remain hands-free instead of holding manual pressure.

The design is simple on purpose. No assembly. No guesswork. Place it, apply pressure, and let it do the job.

NasaClip is compact, easy to carry, and fits into a wide range of kits from EMS and law enforcement to school health offices, workplaces, and home medical supplies.

At its core, it solves a common problem with a straightforward approach. Control bleeding efficiently without tying up time or personnel.

The Story

NasaClip was developed by Dr. Elizabeth Clayborne, an emergency physician who set out to fix a common but inefficient problem in emergency care: controlling nosebleeds.

In the ER, she repeatedly saw patients arrive for minor nosebleeds that could have been managed outside the hospital, often requiring staff to apply manual pressure for extended periods. The process was time-consuming, inconsistent, and tied up resources for a relatively simple issue.

The idea started during her residency with a simple concept. Create a device that applies constant, targeted pressure to the correct area of the nose without requiring hands-on intervention.

The result was NasaClip. A small, disposable device that combines a nasal clamp with absorbent sponges to provide consistent compression and bleeding control.

Since its development, the device has been brought to market through extensive clinical and startup efforts, with a broader vision of expanding into intranasal treatment applications.

Why We Chose NasaClip

We came across this one the same way we find most things. In the field.

During civil unrest operations, nosebleeds were more common than expected. Not serious, but enough to interfere. The problem wasn’t the injury. It was the time. Manual pressure tied someone up longer than it should for something that simple.

Around that time, we heard about NasaClip. Small business. Clinician-built. Made sense on paper, but we wanted to see it actually work.

We didn’t have to wait long. One of our team ended up with a nosebleed, we applied it, and it stopped it quickly. No one stuck holding pressure. No disruption.

That was enough for us.

What stood out is how broadly it applies. This isn’t just a field problem. It shows up in EMS, schools, workplaces, and at home. Same issue, same solution.

Simple. Effective. Works when you need it to.
